Bernice Ayer Middle School (BAMS) promotes the highest standards and fairness to all students. BAMS staff members are enthusiastic, caring, competent and ready to meet your child’s educational needs. We know that each child’s future depends on how much and how well he/she learns. We know that when children work as hard as they can, they gain skills and knowledge that will enable them to be successful as students and adults.
If students have concerns regarding academic issues and scheduling, they are encouraged to talk with the Guidance Tech, Mrs. Lisa Broadhead.

State and I-ready testing will begin in Spring 2026, date TBD.
1st Quarter Progress Reporting closes Friday, Sept. 19.
1st Quarter closes Friday, October 17, 2025.
2nd Quarter Progress Reporting closes Friday, Nov. 14.
2nd Quarter closes Thursday, Dec.18, 2025.
3rd Quarter Progress Reporting closes Friday, Feb 6.
3rd Quarter closes Friday, March 13, 2026.
4th Quarter Progress Reporting closes Friday, April 24.
4th Quarter closes Thursday, June 4, 2026.
**It is important to check your student's canvas account frequently and continue to monitor their progress. Please reach out to their teacher directly if you have a specific concern regarding their grade.
