New Chromebook Protection Plan Covers Accidental Damage

ATTENTION ALL PARENTS!
New Chromebook Protection Plan Covers Accidental Damage

This year the district is offering families a new Chromebook protection plan, designed to provide parents peace of mind when accidents happen.

Last year, BAMS students brought more than 150 Chromebooks into the library with broken screens and 200 with missing keys. This year, according to the new plan, the district will charge $35 to repair a broken screen and $45 for Chromebooks with one or more missing keys. But don't worry, families can purchase a Chromebook protection plan for $30, covering accidental damage for the entire school year.

Parents can find the protection plan flyers in their student's registration packet. Use the QR code on the flyer to visit the payment site or bring a check made out to CUSD to your child's registration. All protection plan registration forms can be turned in at BAMS during registration. Lost your flyer? Click HERE to get all the details.

The BAMS library is open daily before school and during break, SWELL and lunch for homework completion, reading, and library book browsing and check out. Students can check out two library books at a time for up to two weeks. Books may be renewed as long as there hasn't been a request for that book.
