Meet the Instructor...Julia Mae ThompsonI am a student at Laguna College of Art and Design working on a BFA in Experimental Animation with a Creative Writing Minor!
My passion for storytelling has given me a love for storyboarding and script writing. In the past few years, I have written and produced two student short films "Made With Love" and "Teatime," and the stage play "By the Book" which was performed for live audiences. I am currently working as a background artist on the student film "Shattered" and as a concept artist for the story-based video game "Office Quest." I am also in the beginning phases of production for my own short film that will be made over the next year and a half.
Outside of school, I work as a Social Media Designer for Succulent Coffee Roasters, a Graphic Designer and Children's Book Colorist for Faux Paw Petique, and as Student Government Representative for the Experimental Animation major. I look forward to meeting you this summer! |
